Today, October 1st, 2025 is a day upon which all of America’s future stands.
Dear General,
Yesterday was the official start of the Trump Coup. Not that it hasn’t been going on since his first administration. Most of us have seen it. I’m sure you have too. Though half of America has refused to notice, including every newspaper in print today. Yesterday, Trump called together you and the entire cadre of 800 American military generals to decide to fight the enemy within, us, or lose your rank and career.
I believe the majority of the American people have made their decision to stand and fight. But this morning you, the American generals, must make your decision. With us — or against us.
So, generals and staff, I am asking you directly: Where do you stand?
With the constitution and the American people or with the lawless dictator Trump?
This is likely the most important decision you will ever make. Do you go to war on your own country and people? Will you accept an illegal command and order your troops to fire upon American citizens? Do you stand for freedom or tyranny? Will you follow the Constitution you swore to uphold or bend under the power of avarice and greed?
Will you kill your own people, or do you stand with them against oppression?
I do not envy your position. You must make the most difficult decision since the American Civil War. What will you tell your men, your country and your family?
History will mark this day. Are you a Himmler or an Ike. I await your answer.
